Ed Schlueter- President and Chief Executive Officer

Ed has over 36 years of industry experience, primarily in the materials research and imaging technology. He was a senior research scientist with Xerox Corporation, in the area of material science, imaging and medical device research. He also experience in technology transfer on an international scale and was consistently rated higher than many of his peers for his innovative ideas. Prior to joining Xerox Ed spent four years serving the country in Viet Nam as an instrument technician.

Ed was awarded the highest achievement award in Xerox, the “President’s Award” as well as highest patent award, the “Eagle Award”. He has published several Xerox research papers on thermally conductive polymers, ionic conduction in polymers, device fabrication, imaging technology and strategic color markets. Ed has over 100 U.S. and foreign patents to his name in the area of medical device communications, material science and imaging science.

In 1996, Ed founded Medgraph, a medical informatics research company. In 2001, the Rochester Business Journal recognized him as 5th top inventor in the Rochester area.  In 2006 he was selected to participate in “ The Entrepreneur Network” forum, an initiative sponsored by local county government. Ed has written many Medgraph research reports and completed feasibility research studies on Diabetes Communications for the Disabled following an SBIR grant.

Ed earned a BSEE in 1978 form Rochester Institute of Technology and an MS in Material Science form University of Rochester in 1982.
